Join Best of Boston Wedding Photographers, Tara Morris and Ben Wight, with the cultural expertise of Jenn Ciplet in an adventurous, colorful, photogenic, unforgettable trip to Mexico City for their annual celebration Día de los Muertos (Day Of The Dead).  

Some of the INCREDIBLE highlights already planned for our trip: 

• Learn to capture and honor the essence of people and places in a variety of lighting situations and sensitivities.  

• No matter your experience with photography, learn how to be your very best with the edits and critiques with Ben and Tara.

• Participate in other día de los muertos activities, such as festivals and parades (we’ve hired a face painter for us so we can be part of it all!) 

• Witness the ofrendas (offerings) that local families and communities create to honor their dead for día de los muertos

• Attend a LUCHA LIBRE show at the national Arena!!!!!

• Bicycle tour of Mexico City's gorgeous streets and green spaces, sample the very best tacos washed down with a little Mezcal, if you please. 

• Visit off-the-beaten path speak easies and hidden cocktail bars

• Visit Frida Kahlo's famous blue house in Coyocán

• Invigorating yoga practice on our rooftop terrace every morning.

• accommodations in the heart of Mexico City in a private home for four nights

Pricing:

$2150 per person in your own room

$1800 if you’re sharing a queen bed with someone you know and love.

Payment options:

• Pay-in-full at sign up

• Split into two payments (at sign up and balance due August 1st)

• OR contact Tara to discuss a more incremental payment plan – this trip will sell out quickly

Cancellation Policy

1.  First deposits (or the equivalent of) are non refundable. 

2.  If canceling before 60 days out, we will try to transfer your spot.  If we do that successfully you will be refunded all that you've paid except for the first deposit or equivalent of.   If we are NOT able to fill your spot, you will be refunded 50% of anything over the initial deposit or equivalent of. 

3.  Within 30 days of the retreat, all monies paid are non-refundable.
