H.Y.P. is delighted to present The Tulum Retreat with Tara Morris and Braxton Rose, a warm weather, tropical lovefest of a getaway, coming Sunday, March 8th-Saturday, 14th of 2020!

As before, we are taking our asana talents to the spiritual, exotic & blissful environment of Amansala Eco-Resort in Tulum, Mexico, where we will explore the unique vibe of our yoga community, and Braxton and Tara's dynamic instruction, surrounded by sun, sea and sky. Together, we will put life on pause to immerse in the elements of nature and, yes, retreat from the whims of New England winter weather, as we excavate a different way of being.

Our Tulum Retreat, and all of its classes and activities, are open and accessible to all, whether new to yoga, an advanced practitioner, or just someone looking for renewal in a beautiful beach environment! Our twice a day yoga practices are completely optional for all attendees, and the island is full of both respite and adventure for practitioner and vacationer alike. Come alone or with a partner or good friend--we guarantee that you will feel welcome and at ease in the glow of Braxton, Tara and the warm, Tulum breezes.

Tulum, Mexico… if you have never been, you are in for a treat in this a magical, mystical place. Located 90 miles south of Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula, the powdery white sand and turquoise water will be our backyard for a week of Yoga, meditation, relaxation, and restoration.

Enjoy beautiful beachfront and rooftop yoga studios for sunset sessions, exploring ancient Mayan ruins, swimming and snorkeling in cenotes (underground caves), spa treatments by Mayan midwives, and so much more. There is incredible food up and down the beach, great shopping, kite surfing, paddle boarding lessons and bikes for rent to explore on your own, or simply walk or run for miles along this gorgeous shoreline.

Amansala, taken from the two sanskrit words 'peace' and 'water', is one of the original Yoga retreat locations along this stretch. Founder Melissa Perlman has created a place where people come, solo, with their partners, or friends, for an adventure with like minded souls, good healthy food, and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Amansala is paradise with the warmth and feel of your own beach house. The property consists of 24 beautiful cabanas in a village-like setting, a beachfront restaurant, lounging terrace, yoga shalas, and massage rooms. From the moment you step into Amansala with beautiful fabrics blowing in the wind, one of a kind mosaic ceramics, and attentive staff, you know you have arrived at a unique slice of paradise, where all guests have a memorable experience.

Situated along the Caribbean Sea on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, Tulum is a breathtaking beach paradise that resonates with a healing energy. In addition to experiencing one of the world’s best preserved coastal Maya sights, Tulum is renowned for its sacred, natural, freshwater cenotes and cave systems formed from the collapse of limestone bedrock that make for a unique water exploration. Tulum’s proximity to the Riviera Maya and Cancun has led to development of the Tulum Pueblo where shopping, restaurants and salsa dancing round out the cultural experience.
